'Trans-Oklahoma' Documentary Premier, Canceled by Left-Wing LGBTQ Activists
Trans-Oklahoma; Dark Side of the Rainbow Film Sparks Controversy
For Such A Time As This…
Any observant individual in today’s society, can tell you there has been a large increase in the transgender movement, particularly among young people. With the rise of Tik-Tok trends and online chat rooms, the grooming of underage children has become increasingly worse, and unfortunately somewhat more accepted by society. Many conservative voices, such as Candace Owens, have even stated that we will soon see letter ‘P’ for p*dophilia officially added to the LGBTQIA+ acronym before long. But of course the word p*edophilia holds far too much of a negative connotation to be blatantly added to the list. It will likely be an ‘M’, for the new and less harsh sounding term, minor attracted persons, or ‘MAPS’ that we will see added to the community’s acronymic title. In fact, many individuals within this community have realised things are going to such an extreme that they are beginning to disassociate themselves with the leftist LGBTQ movements and ideologies. Groups like Gays Against Groomers have become increasingly outspoken and recognisable in popular political culture today. However, the boundaries continue to be pushed by '“leftists”, within the most vulnerable spaces within our society.
Even here in, “conservative”, Oklahoma, the left wing LGBTQ movement has made its way through the schools, non-profits, and entertainment industry, right into the minds of our children. Education based non-profits in our classrooms, such as City Year, under Americorps, the national services program, and classroom / library content providers such as Scholastic, have delivered the left wing ideology front and center to the most vulnerable. Oklahoma’s children have become the target, yet the larger misconception still seems to be that, we’re “still a red state”.
Oklahoma most recently has become a trend on national news outlets and social media platforms, as our state superintendent, Ryan Walters, and groups like Moms for Liberty, have drawn a line in the sand when it comes to the indoctrination of our children and the hijacking of our classrooms. The evidence is mounting up each day, which may go to show that we are in fact, not a red state. An elected official having an (R) by their name is not the all deciding factor for true conservative representation. In fact, fake republicans, often referred to as RINOs (Republican In Name Only), tend to be the bigger hurdles in Oklahoma, when it comes to conservative legislation and push back making headway.
However, more conservative Oklahomans are pushing back, alongside Oklahoma’s state superintendent and parental rights groups, even the realm of local independent media. A soon to be released documentary, Trans-Oklahoma, produced by Red River Creative Media, following their award winning film, Saving Clayton, is on its way amidst the height of all the controversy. In all the chaos and confusion, where science and logic appear to be out the window, and feelings seem to dictate a new found “truth” and identity, we are beginning to hear a new voice cry out. It is the voice of those who once embraced a false identity, and have since left it behind, now sounding the alarm. De-Transitioners (former transgender individuals), and their stories, are the focus of this upcoming, controversial film. Dark Side of the Rainbow (film’s subtitle), follows the journey of three Oklahoma women, (former transgender males), Lacey Rice, Zoe Hawes, and Laura Perry Smalts, as they describe tragic details of their former transgender lifestyles, and why they chose to leave it all behind for a life of freedom.
In the middle of the chaos, there are voices of hope that are about to arrive front and center on the battle field of identity. Make no mistake, timing is everything, and a testimony bears weight. Perhaps (these women) were born, for such a time as this.

“You d*mb*ss f*ggot b*itch, if you’re gay you're gay. Ain’t no “former” sh*t…”
You can feel the emotion within this statement. I just received this message on Facebook as I was typing this article. I figured, why not make it the next subtitle. Extreme emotion, and decisions making based upon feelings, appear to be the driving factor that has taken these movements to such extremes.
My name is Gabe Woolley, and I am a former member of the LGBTQ community. I receive messages and comments like this often, though there has been a tremendous increase since the, June 18th, release of the movie poster for our Trans-Oklahoma film.
Watch my personal testimony here:
I always found it interesting, that some commonly heard principles among LGBTQ social groups are, ‘acceptance’ and ‘inclusivity.’ Yet, mounting evidence and testimonials would point to a reality of the exact opposite. If you no longer claim an LGBTQ identity, and become vocal about your new found convictions, many still within this group will go above and beyond to convince you and the world that there is no such thing as a ‘former gay’ or ‘former LGBTQ’. The most common argument is that, ‘you are born gay, and there is nothing you can do about it.’
Personally, I have found the LGBTQ lifestyle among other, ‘victim mentality based’ ideologies, like Black Lives Matter, to be breeding grounds for anxiety and extreme emotional reactions to just about anything life throws at you. I often wonder if the extreme anger and constant offense that tends to follow activists within these groups comes from a place of not being able to accept the fact that we, ourselves, are the only ones responsible for our own healing and acceptance. It is easier to shift blame than it is to accept the personal responsibility to heal.
A Call to Action
These Oklahoma women (de-transitioners) and parents deserve to have their story told. Free speech has certainly been under attack for some time now. The censorship of this film via the cancelation of a private showing at Rodeo Cinema, OKC, is just one example of the double standard in Oklahoma that comes with modern day culture and politics.
We are now looking to local churches and grassroots groups throughout the state of Oklahoma to host showings of this film. To be clear, this is a direct call upon The Church to be ‘The Church’, and to conservatives to take a stand for truth and free speech in our state.

I’m so unbelievably proud of you Gabe! This (your testimony, boldness, vulnerability) is so powerful and desperately needed especially in today’s society. It also really spoke to me in my addiction and made me really think and view my addiction ,and all it entails, in such a different way. Also gives me hope of recovering and healing and also not feeling so alone and scared and ashamed. Thank you I love you so much
